AbstractThe aim of present study was to investigate role of two main process of psychological inflexibility, including Experiential Avoidance (EA) and cognitive Fusion, and health bielifes, in psychological well-being of cardiovascular patients. To this end, 300 individuals with cardiovascular disease, who refered to shahid gholipour medical center Bukan city, were selected by purposive sampling in a correlational design and responded to research instruments. The instruments were including Health Belief Qustionnaire, Acceptance and action-II (AAQ-II), Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire (CFQ), and Ryff Scales of Psychological well-being (short-form (RSPW-SF). Results showed health beliefs, EA and CF were significantly correlated with all subscales and total score of psychological well-being, especially self-acceptance, positive relation with others, personal growth and mastering environment, among cardiovascular patients (p<0.05). Regression analysis indicated severity of harm (subscle of health belief) and EA as a significant predictior of self acceptance; vulnuribility to harm (subscle of health belief) and EA as significant predictor of positive relation with others, personal growth and mastering invironment; vulneriblity to harm as significant predictor of independence, vulneribilty to harm and EA as significant predictor of total psychological well-being. Findingsuggest that psychological inflexibility components, especially EA, and health beliefs have inpact on well-being of patients with cardiovascular disease and weaken their psychological weel-being. The purpose of this study was to prepare a Persian version of the Security in the Inter-Parental Subsystem scales (SIS), and to examine its psychometric properties in the Iranian adolescent community. The English version of the SIS questionnaire was translated and back-translated prior to its administration to 587 students (269 boys and 318 girls) from the first and second grades of high school in Shiraz at 2019-2020. After administration, the internal consistency coefficient (Cronbach's alpha) was calculated to validate the subscales and also exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was assessed to examine the factor structure and validation of the questionnaire. In examining the factor structure of this questionnaire, 9 factors were extracted using the exploratory factor analysis method, which explained 57.8% of the variance The results of confirmatory factor analysis also indicated aد acceptable fit of the 9-factor model. The range of alpha coefficients in the girls group was between 0.34 to 0.82, in the boys group between 0.20 to 0.80 and in the whole scale was between 0.29 to 0.80. According to the results of the study, the Persian version of the Security in the interparental subsystem scales has good reliability and validity in Iranian population and is a appropriate tool for clinical and research opportunities.

Introduction: Aim of the study was to comparing efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy with or without and Zolpidem 10 mg. on dysfunctional cognitions & metacognitions in people with chronic insomnia disorder. Method: The multiple baselines single case design was used for the research. After taking diagnostic interview, six patients with chronic insomnia who met inclusive criteria randomly assigned to three group included cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy with metacognitive techniques & pharmacotherapy. All of patients assessed six times by 10-item dysfunctional beliefs & attitudes about sleep & metacognition questionnaires. Data were analyzing using interpretation of changes of variables in the graph, effect size and diagnostic recovery. Results: Adding metacognitive techniques to cognitive behavioral therapy could increases its efficacy. Effect sized of all interventions was proved that cognitive behavioral therapy with metacognitive techniques has the most effect size on dysfunctional metacognitions. Both of psychological therapies decrease dysfunctional beliefs & attitudes about sleep. Pharmacotherapy in particular 1 & 3 month follow-up hadn't high efficacy. Conclusion: Adding metacognition techniques to gold standard in treatment of insomnia increases the treatment. The results continue even three month after discontinuing.
